Toy Box Project
26-Aug-2013Osmand Signs were briefed by the client to construct a massive toy box 6m x 2m x 2m, for the Warehouse yearly toy sale.
The brief detailed that it had to be made in a way it could be transported around the country with ease, had to be hard wearing, strong and robust so it could handle a few knocks and been freighted around New Zealand.
Osmand Signs designed and constructed the entire project in house at their sign shop in Auckland, everything from the fabrication of the frame installing the ALUPANEL and creating digital prints with their in house printing equipment and design team, no job is to big for Osmand Signs with theie thinking outside the square attitude.
Osmand Signs were looking for a strong light weight panel that could be fixed to a constructed wooden frame that would stand the test of time.
Osmand Signs decided to run with ALUPANEL premium, 3mm panel with a 0.3 aluminum skin that could be V grooved and folded with ease, the finish on the ALUPANEL had to be perfect as they were to apply digital prints to the surface, they could not afford any blemishes or dents that would show through to the finished product it had to be perfect.
25 sheets of ALUPANEL were fixed to the wooden frame, then digital prints were applied to the AluPanel sheeting, this project was so big it filled there entire work shop with little room to move.
The end result was amazing Osmand Signs were happy and there client we wrapped with the finished product.
